"Soon drugs that postpones ageing?"

Rejuvenate Biomed invests 0.5 million euro in research of drugs that postpones the onset of aging diseases. "Make sure that people stay healthy for a longer period of time" dixit Ann Beliën. "These chronical diseases typically start at the age of 65. We want to postpone this so to the age of 85". One drug that slows down the onset of aging diseases in different areas (cardiovascular, neurological, diabetes, muscular aging, cancers). The intent is to find a drug that is affordable for everyone, not only for the rich. When the news reporter asks if it will come down to a noble cause resulting in medical "candy" where we don't know it will work, she replies "I'm a scientist and we will provide science based evidence that this approach works".
