Dr Gabriel Tarrason Risa is the Lead Data Scientist at Rejuvenate Biomed. He is responsible for developing the next generation of our in silico drug discovery platform and managing its integration with our lab-based discovery platforms and clinical studies.

Gabriel has built a career at the interface of biology and computer science and is at the forefront of cross-disciplinary research in bioinformatics, precision medicine, microbiology, and machine learning. He has repeatedly published in top-tier journals and contributed in these fields during his doctoral studies, as a postdoctoral researcher at the MRC Laboratory for Molecular Biology, and as a Data Scientist at the Advanced Analytics Centre of Excellence at SAS Institute. At SAS, Gabriel pioneered R&D efforts in network medicine for drug discovery and defining disease endotypes based on multi-omics data and multimodal AI.

Gabriel holds a BSc in Biochemistry from Imperial College London, a Graduate Certificate in Statistics from Birkbeck University of London, and a PhD from University College London.
