Ludo Haazen, former CMO at Rejuvenate Biomed, is a seasoned expert in international pharmaceutical drug development with over 30 years of experience in leading international clinical research and medical affairs. Ludo has built his career in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry by at first joining big pharma (Roche and Johnson & Johnson) as an employee, to further on provide consultancy, since 2003, to leading Belgian start-up biotech companies, without losing the hands-on expertise. As such, Ludo served as Global Clinical Project Leader for Durogesic, a billion-dollar product of Johnson & Johnson, and is acting at present as Chief Medical Officer to smaller start-up companies, being instrumental in bringing new medicinal products to doctors and patients worldwide. Ludo holds a medical degree and a postgraduate certificate in Statistics and Epidemiology from the University of Leuven (KU Leuven), Belgium. He is lecturer in Pharmaceutical Medicine at the Free University of Brussels (ULB), Belgium, and reviewer for the scientific journal Frontiers Pharmacology.
